Base 10 Youth Centre

Onkaparinga Youth hosts a weekly music program called 'Rhyme, Recital, Remix', at Base 10 Youth Centre in Old Reynella. At the sessions, young people can learn from accomplished musicians and instructors and use the amazing facilities to write lyrics, record music, make beats, practice sound engineering and do some live jamming! 

The participants had some amazing stories to share about how music and the youth centre had empowered them, and supported their development and wellbeing. I think the best bit about this program, is that it supports youth to develop their musical abilities, then provides them with the chance to perform live in the community! I'm excited for the completed episode to finally be broadcasted!
