Hey, I’m Jessica, a presenter, producer and journalism graduate from the University of South Australia, and the creator and host of BTS with Jess.
I started my TV program in 2024 to give young creatives a platform to share their stories, showcase their art and explore why creativity matters for young people and communities. Through interviews, event coverage and behind-the-scenes storytelling filmed across South Australia, BTS with Jess showcases the impact creativity can have on confidence, wellbeing and connection, and covers youth-centric stories that are often overlooked in mainstream broadcasting.
Since launching, the show has featured more than 150 young artists and organisations on Channel 44, Channel 31 and CTV+ over 19 episodes. In 2025, BTS with Jess received three Antenna Awards nominations (like the Logies but for community TV), with me being named Personality of the Year!

As well as producing the show, I’m passionate about community storytelling, youth engagement and creating opportunities for young people to get involved in the arts through workshops and events. You’ll find me running art workshops with my local council in Gawler and emceeing events like the Relay For Life, the Gawler Show, the Gawler Christmas Parade, and the Adelaide Film Festival Youth Gala.
