BTS with Jess Season 1 Launch Night
UniSA Creative supported the launch of this new series and rolled out the red carpet for a screening at the Gawler Cinemas!
With almost every seat in the cinema full, I don’t know how I can possibly express my gratitude for the support that was shown for my project. I am incredibly thankful to have Mayor of Gawler Karen Redman open the event, along with Star Sandford, Channel 44 Adelaide Production Coordinator, and Andrei Gostin - Team Leader of Production Services from the University of South Australia, who said some words. Also very appreciative of the support shown by Matt Burnell MP and The Bunyip Newspaper on the night, and throughout the entire launch process. Thanks to Justine Vlachoulis for not only shooting some of the Season 1 episodes, but for the incredible photography on Wednesday night! Of course, a very big thanks to Channel 44 Adelaide for their ongoing support since the inception of this project, and to Channel 31 Melbourne for jumping on board to air the series. The Gawler Youth Band were also in attendance, and performed some awesome songs! Along with Abbey Amber and Emerauld who played some live music. Thank you to all of you for keeping us entertained! True North Youth Ensemble made a special trip down to Gawler to join the celebrations, and were treated to a special screening of their TV feature! Gawler Academy of Dance has also been a huge supporter of the TV show, and a big group of the students and instructors came along - massive thanks to you guys!! The support from my fellow committee members at the Gawler Relay for Life and UniCast Radio was so much appreciated as well - thank you for helping to make the night so special And thank you to my friends and family who all came to enjoy the launch night and support this hard work that has gone into making my dream a reality. It was truly humbling to see the amount of people who came out to celebrate this career milestone with me - so thank you. Enjoy the photos! |
